Trust Sweet Iron Baby Pelham Eliptical
This bit has one jaw piece but can be driven with one or two reins. If it is chosen to ride with one rein, a pelham belt is needed to connect the bit rings to the rings of the scissors. The Pelham is a mouthpiece with leverage. The longer the scissors, the sharper the effect. The Baby Pelham has short scissors and therefore has a milder effect than the normal Pelham. A pelham is mainly used in strong horses or horses with too little space in the mouth for two mouthpieces. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.
The double-broken bit has two hinge points, is more to the mouth and is a bit looser in the mouth. This bit works on the tongue, the layers and the corners of the mouth. Pay attention to narrow lower jaws, the hinge points can then press the layers what wounds can cause. Compared to a single broken bit, this bit works more on the tongue. A double-broken mouthpiece is a standard mouthpiece.
