The Pelham bit combines the action of a snaffle and a double-butted bit. The bit has one bit but can be ridden with one or two reins. If you choose to ride with one rein, a Pelham strap is needed to connect the bit rings to the rings of the shanks. The Pelham is a mouthpiece with leverage; the longer the shanks, the sharper the action. The baby Pelham has short shanks and therefore has a milder action than the normal Pelham. A Pelham bit is mainly used for strong horses, horses with too little room in the mouth for two mouthpieces or horses that have to get used to a double-butted bit. This bit is not suitable for the inexperienced rider.

The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made of elastic plastic and are very flexible, which makes the bit very friendly. Despite its flexibility, an Inno Sense Flexi Soft bit is very solid due to the use of a flexible stainless steel core.

Bits from the Inno Sense collection can be used for all horses, but are particularly suitable for young horses and horses with a sensitive mouth. The plastic used is FDA approved, which means that the material is non-toxic and does not contain plasticizers. Horses ridden on an Inno Sense mouthpiece easily follow the hand and quickly accept the bit. The Inno Sense flexi soft is less suitable for very strong horses.
