The Smart Grooming Smart Manes Thinning Rake will thin out a thick mane quickly and effortlessly and is perfect for tidying horses that usually react to traditional pulling methods. Guaranteed to work on even the most sensitive equines.

Choice of three grades depending on the density of hair and finish required.

Coarse (12 Teeth): Good for coarser manes or those looking for a natural finish.

Directions for use:

Brush the mane over to the opposite side to where it usually lays.  Comb through with Smart Manes, ensuring to start the stroke below the root. Brush the mane onto the correct side and level with the finish Pro Levelling Knife to finish.

Please note, the Smart Manes rake will thin the hair very quickly, so Smart Grooming recommend using it once through the mane, and repeating over a few days to prevent over thinning or spikey regrowth.
