Samshield Shield'Rup Stirrups

The Samshield Shield'Rup Stirrups offer safety and performance.

With safety at the forefront of this design, these stirrup irons have been created with a lateral arm that opens when pressure is applied during a fall. The cable and spring system allows the arm-branch to open 180° and return to its original position.

Made with aerospace-grade aluminium and a steel insert, the Shield’Rup is very resistant design.

Twisted leather slots and interchangeable treads (the choice of either standard grip or extra grip). The inclined treads helps create a more natural correct position of the legs and heels. Samshield have inserted an elastomer seals under the tread to provide shock and vibration absorption for optimal comfort, perfect balance and protection of the rider's joints.

• 180° branch opening: The lateral branch systematically returns to its initial position in case of opening
• Two versions of treads: The Shield’rup is available in two different versions: with standard grip treads or with extra grip treads (with spikes). The treads are exchangeable.
